Live 8

Live 8 Look, it's not that I've had a sense of humour bypass, and lord knows music is not be beyond satire or reproach, but which twonk thought Jonathan Ross was the man to introduce this event? Dido and Youssou N'Dour give a great performance of Seven Seconds in one of the highlights of the show and he comes on at the end with -- 'I thought it went on a bit too long at the end.' Who cares what you think? You're not funny and your hair's too long.

It is a great song, but DID go on too long. And Jonathon Ross was great presenting it, who else could have kept going for 10 hours and kept it entertaining

I guess you thought Graham Norton was an inspired choice for the US version?!?! Now that was a bad choice

Actually I think all of the presenters who wouldn't have derailed the show were all on the radio. I just thought Ross's tone was wrong for the event -- the constant editorialisation, piss taking and cheap jokery became really tiring after a while.

Actually at least Norton did what was probably needed which was to link things together without assuming he was the thing people had tuned in for.

Pink Floyd and The Who rocked, Robbie was ok too. Jonathan Ross ditto. Anyone who disagrees wants Graham Norton's bottom for pleasure.
