I love that the linked article fills time by reminding us who he is: "McGregor, who comes from Crieff, Perthshire..." (really !?!) "McGregor, who played a heroin addict in Trainspotting ....." (which is a bit like saying "Paul McCartney formerly of a band called 'The Beatles' ")
